Larsen and Brusgaard is the preferred supplier of visual wrist mounted altimeters for the Red Bull Stratos project. The cutting edge technology and design used in L&B's altimeter, Altitrack, allows for secure use in harsh environments and trying conditions and the continuous R&D gives the Red Bull Stratos team the latest in altitude awareness. L&B is proud to support this mission with Altitracks for pilot Felix Baumgartner and skydiving consultant Luke Aikins.

Flightline Films

Since 1984, Las Vegas-based FlightLine Films has been providing television and motion picture producers with the highest quality in aerospace cinematography services. The company has pioneered visual documentation systems for the private and commercial space programs advancing into the 21st century. Flightline offers zero-gravity qualified crews and HD cameras for use in the cold vacuum of space, as well as housings that allow traditional motion picture cameras to operate in that hostile environment. Flightline Films is designing and building the camera systems to document the Red Bull Stratos mission from multiple perspectives, including ground-based trackers, an airborne tracking system, in the capsule and on Felix Baumgartner’s pressure suit.
Micar Fabrication

Micar Fabrication & Design Company Inc., Red Bull, and Flightline Films collaborated to design and manufacture the custom pressurized cases that will house the cameras to film the digital images of Felix exiting the capsule and be transmitted to earth. Micar also manufactured the cage and pressurized keg to include the electronics for the camera systems. Michael Caruso, founder of Micar, started the company over 50 years ago and began machining custom machine and aircraft parts that were used on the Grumman Apollo Lunar Module moon missions. Michaels son Brian Caruso, President of Micar Fabrication has continued the same high standard and quality in the aerospace industry as well as many other industries. Micar's experience and knowledge in the aerospace industry made Micar a perfect team partner for the Red Bull Stratos project.
Wings for Life Foundation

WINGS FOR LIFE FOUNDATION: Today, some 2.7 million people are confined to a wheelchair due to a spinal cord injury. The leading cause of such severe injuries is everyday traffic accidents, which account for approximately 65,000 new patients per year. By selecting and supporting projects of the highest quality in the field of spinal cord research, Wings for Life promotes scientific progress for a future in which spinal paralysis can be cured. Felix Baumgartner says, "I fully trust in Wings for Life. My appreciation of this research foundation only increases as I grow conscious of the ever-present risk of spinal cord injury. It can affect anybody, regardless of age, nationality or wealth – whether you're an extreme athlete or not."
3g

3g is a leader and innovator in live wireless HD video and audio broadcast technologies and a proud supporter of the Red Bull Stratos Project. As the terrestrial based RF broadcast partner, 3g is responsible for designing and providing the solutions for the reliable live transmission of multiple HD video streams and data links over long distances back to Mission Control from a wide variety of sources, including the ground based high altitude tracking stations, helicopter camera and wireless handheld cameras on the flight line.
